They say love is written in the stars, and looking at Caitlyn + Ben and their love story, we agree! These two have battled life together and come through as a stronger couple, more in love than ever before. After surviving Hurricane Michael, a category 5 storm that destroyed everything they owned, this couple found a new home in beautiful Idaho. Loving it so much, they decided to treat their guests to a real Idaho mountain experience, complete with quaint cabins and tents, boho style, celestial inspiration, floor seating with rugs and pillows, and some decadent donuts. With the help of event planners, Sprout Design, their wedding at Sixty Chapel celebrated the power of love.
C shared a little bit about the overall vibes for the day:
I knew I wanted something different with high and low seating as well as an emphasis on the small details. The energy of the day was also top priority, with the ambiance feeling intimate and warm with a guest count of a mere 56. As members of the Therapy world, we also are big proponents of natural medicine and pain relief, which was highlighted throughout our decor and favor table. We really tried to think of every small thing to make the day memorable.

Celestial Inspiration
You guys know how much we adore celestial wedding inspiration which is why we’re loving C + B’s moon and stars invitation suite by Kinship Letterpress. Also, C’s crescent earrings and starburst hairpieces by Victoria Percival– gorgeous! For more celestial bridal accessories, check out the stunning pieces below:
C’s Saldana Vintage ‘Robyn’ gown is boho gold! The head-to-toe lace with illusion sleeves is perfect for this laid-back mountain wedding! She finished off her wedding day look with BeNelipots shoes and hair and makeup by Lauren Adorno.
That’s the face every bride dreams of getting during the first look! How totally charming does B look in his burgundy Jos. A. Bank attire?
That heart pounding, nervous jitter, accompanied by the burst of relief when you see your person’s face light up seeing you truly for the first time… there’s something really special about the calmness before the storm. That private moment just between the two of you. Effortless intimacy.
Canoe Portraits
You can’t get more Idaho charm than bride and groom portraits on a lake, in a canoe, with a serene mountain backdrop!
C + B giving us Noah + Allie from The Notebook vibes!!
Absolutely loving the color palette of C’s bridesmaids dresses! These crimson, blush, and dusty rose gowns are from Oak & Blossom and we adore the boho lace and sheer skirts!!
Mountain Wedding Ceremony
The energy and vibe of the day was very important to C + B. How cool is this station where guests got to fill their own toss bags with dried flowers to shower wishes on the bride and groom after the ceremony?!
Pampas Please!
Our obsession with pampas grass continues with this stunning aisle and ceremony installation by Wildflower Floral Co. The neutral color of the grasses ties in with the earthy, mountain wedding vibes, yet allows the statement ceremony rug from Sprout Events to really pop!
Showering wishes on the Mr and Mrs!
Festival Style Reception
C + B wanted their guests to experience a real mountain wedding! Complete with rad festival-style seating, large tables, comfy pillows and rugs, this setup makes for the perfect atmosphere to eat, dance, relax, and gaze up at the stars. In fact, Corrie Butler Photography tells us that’s exactly what they did! Here’s her description of the beautiful evening:
In addition to the cute tiny cabins, on the property, canvas tents are accessible for guests if you’re truly looking for an adventurous experience. C + B’s details were out of this world unique starting with breathtaking table settings, a dessert bar showcasing donuts drizzled in frosting and topped with cereal, to healing crystals as the wedding favors. What guest wouldn’t want to walk away with a crystal to remember that powerful day? We ended the night star-gazing with Caitlyn, Ben, their bridal party, and other vendors.

My wedding day was the fastest day of my life! As the bride and groom you are pulled in so many directions. Take time for the two of you. Really look around and enjoy the day. You’ve put so much love, planning, and money into this, treasure it! Eat your food, dance with your guests, and share those sweet moments with your new spouse!
In lieu of wedding cake, C + B dazzled their mountain wedding guests with a collection of donuts from Horsewood Catering. We’ll take one or two… or ten please!
Congratulations Caitlyn + Ben! Your mountain wedding was gorgeous and full of the most beautiful boho wedding decorations and unique details! The GWS team is wishing you both a life full of love and adventure!
