We love seeing the exotic and awe-inspiring places where love takes our couples. Ksenia + Sergio are mountain lovers and travel lovers, so it seemed only natural for them to exchange their vows on top of a Spanish mountain in Calderona Natural Park. This places holds special significance for them, so it turned out to be the perfect location for their destination elopement. With the help of event planners: Romeos y Julietas, they designed a breathtaking day. The couple’s photographer, Adrian Vilanova, shares more about why they chose to elope:
Mountain and travel lovers they were captivated by the Mediterranean climate on a trip to Valencia a few years ago. With a four year relationship and many travel plans together when Sergio asked Ksenia to marry, they did not hesitate to escape to a place that kept a wonderful memory. They wanted something unique and intimate, more than signing some papers in front of a judge. Free souls by nature and far from a large budget to be able to continue traveling, to later return to Russia and celebrate it with their family and friends informally.

We wanted to elope in nature. We chose this place on the mountain for its charm and for being near the coast at the same time, where we would spend a few days.
The key to planning the perfect elopement? Make it a full on experience! K + S rented this vintage convertible from Classic Dreams to drive up to the top of the mountain on wedding day.
