You asked and we’re listening. We’re committing to sharing the work of more Black wedding professionals and today we’ve got a list of artists who are creative, inspiring, and pushing boundaries in the wedding industry. It goes without saying that this is not an extensive list. We’d love for you to add your favorite professionals (or yourself!) in the comments.
If you’re a couple planning a wedding, we encourage you to book Black wedding vendors. If you’re a vendor in the industry, we encourage you to look outside your same referral list and work with Black wedding vendors. Ultimately, we want to support artists by PAYING THEM for their work and secondly, by following and promoting. So, if you aren’t currently looking to hire, let’s follow and share!
Finally, we hope you’ll keep in mind that wedding vendors generally LOVE to travel, especially photographers! Almost every photographer on this list is more than willing to travel, so don’t let anyone’s location limit you when you find someone you love — which we can guarantee you will.
