When the bride and her mom are both floral designers, you know the flowers and decor will be out of this world amazing!! For Reagan + Mason though, it isn’t just the florals that are amazing- it’s pretty much the whole design scheme! Think a giant rose gold ceremony frame, a Princess-perfect floral bridal gown, two giant flower installations, an extra extra long charcuterie table, and twinkle lights galore. It’s a feast for the eyes! R’s mom and the Merveille Events team made this day at Prospect House look like the perfect Fall wedding! R shares:
Our inspiration for the day came from working many different types of weddings since I work in the industry and have seen everything from your traditional Indian wedding to white hydrangea-based weddings. We wanted a mixture of classic with the brass candlesticks to unconventional with our 42ft nonstop charcuterie board for the main course. To make the wedding about us, we chose to pick an awesome band that we knew would play our style of music versus the typical “wedding band” that would please everyone. Turns out the band (The Motts) was a HIT for all!!

Warm + Cozy Details
Jen Krause Calligraphy & Design created the most beautifully simple and elegant invitation suite. It perfectly captured the warm Fall wedding color palette of rust, dusty rose, mustard and cream.
R’s Bridal Look
Perhaps the perfect gown for a floral designer, R’s Hayley Paige ‘Reagan’ gown from Blush Bridal Lounge, turned out to be the best gown for her in more ways than one! It’s even named for her!! She shares:
I wanted help from my bridesmaids, so I had them each pick out a dress for me to try on while I searched as well. We went into the dressing room and I tried on a variety of dresses, most of which I loved. The last one I tried on was exactly what I was looking for. It was a very light blush, and it had sparkles and flowers and made me feel like the princess I have always wanted to be. When I asked the stylist for the designer, she said Hayley Paige, and the name of the dress itself was “Reagan”. I almost fell to the floor out of excitement. The fact that the dress name was the same as my name, and I tried it on before even knowing that, was a sign from lord knows who. At that moment I knew that was MY dress.
The First Look
From Reagan: The first look was the most memorable for me. I originally didn’t want to do a first look because I wanted our first time seeing each other to be when I walked down the aisle, but my photographer (Brittany Gilbert) suggested that it would really calm my nerves and that I would miss out on a lot of awesome pictures that would be harder to get after the ceremony. Mason’s face when he saw me during the first look brought both of us to tears. I know I will always have that mental image in the back of my mind and I wouldn’t give that up for anything in the world.
From Mason: Aside from the first look, the most memorable part of the wedding for me was seeing everybody cut loose on the dance floor, specifically Reagan. It made my heart hurt how cute she danced because she won’t even dance like that at home, so that just really solidified my commitment and made me feel like I had made the smartest move of my life.

Fall Wedding Ceremony
How cool is that cement platform?! It adds the perfect modern touch to the romantic blooms and gorgeous view!
Merveille Events, where R works, went above and beyond for her floral arrangements. They had not one, but two glorious floral installations! Here are 19 other Creative Floral Installations to Make Your Wedding Wow!
Have fun with it! Don’t get too stressed out about what the cake may look like or who’s sitting next to who. A majority of the time, at least one thing will not go as planned, someone will move seats to sit next to someone else, and no one really remembers what your cake looks like. (Haha!)
Loving all the modern touches R + M brought into the design! This copper pipe and acrylic escort sign is gorge-ous!
The reception rentals and magical fairy lights were all provided by Merveille Events while Premiere Events provided tabletop flatware.
The King of Charcuterie Tables
Grazeology created perhaps the most iconic set up of a charcuterie grazing display that stretched the entire length of the 42ft guest table. Talk about WOWWWW!
Yvette Humbert created this perfect Fall wedding cake featuring tinted sugar blooms and a stunning five tiers!
