Can you ever really go wrong with a cliffside Santorini elopement? You’re guaranteed stunning views and a magical sunset — and that’s pretty much all you need for an über romantic ceremony. But Caroline + Federico upped the ante by calling on a team of insanely creative people who helped make their elopement the stuff of dreams…and just wait until you see what they conjured up with twinkle lights after the ceremony! Caroline let us in on the decision to get out of town for a private vow ceremony:
Since we are a couple from Brazil living in Canada, the idea of having something stress-free and more intimate really got into our heads. An elopement fit like a glove with my dream to visit Santorini. And we couldn’t be more amazed with how everything turned out.
With design + planning Julia & Evita, C + F were in for something great. Let’s take a look at the photos from Lighthouse Photography!
The duo got ready separately before at their private villa at Aenaon Villas Santorini before doing a first look!
Magical Cliffside Santorini Elopement
Julia & Evita created a beautiful triangle arch on the edge of a cliff. Earth tones, flowers, and pampas grass were the main ingredients for the arch + bouquet, as well.
They exchanged their vows overlooking the spectacular view of Caldera just before sunset — so perfect!
Wow, there’s a lot to love by way of that bouquet by Betty Flowers Santorini and Caroline’s Grace Loves Lace gown!
Lovers at Sunset
After the ceremony, Lighthouse Photography grabbed some portraits of the couple over the cliffs and under the warm light of the sunset.
Surrounded by Fairy Lights in Santorini
The most memorable moment was when we were having dinner at the veranda in the hotel, just the two of us, with an unbelievable view, on the other side of the world. We didn’t want the day to be over. It was magic.
The most stunning end to the day was a romantic dinner for two back at the villa surrounded by a flower of fairy lights from Events In Santorini!
The sweet cake for two by Alexandra’s Cakes is so cute! We’re all about small wedding cakes these days.
My advice to all future brides wanting to elope is to invest in a good photographer and videographer and trust your wedding planner. They know what they are doing.
Can you even believe how stunning this is?! ALL THE ROMANCE. And please have a look at this video by Mont Videography…chills, it’s just all so lovely!!
Congrats to these two from all of us at GWS!
