Have you ever considered a brunch or breakfast wedding? The LARK Workshop teamed up with event designers Rebecca Marie Weddings to show you what it’s all about! (HINT: It’s glam, luxe, and something we’d like to see more of! We’ve got not one, but two dramatic wedding dresses, a neutral color palette up against the moody setting of Blackfriars Priory, hanging yarn decor, ceramic place settings and a trio of architectural wedding cakes. Anna Beth Photography shares all about the inspiration:
Rustic Italian vibes in a moody medieval monastery but with an ultra modern luxe vibe. Although shot in the UK in Gloucester, The shoot oozes destination wedding vibes and the priory which it was shot in was built in 1278! There aren’t many wedding venues which are so old! Inspiration for those who would like a high end, unique wedding with character and embrace the moody vibes.
The Unbridled was the host of this fab workshop. Are you ready to see it all? Let’s check it out!
Bridal Beauty in Berta
SPECTACULAR!! This breakfast wedding inspiration is bringing us not one, but TWO rad Berta gowns from The Wedding Club Official. Bold and Beautiful!!
To balance the glitz and glam of the gowns, Juta Zorubiene Hair and Amy Rose MUA created a more demure bridal beauty look. Dainty jewelry pieces came from The Vamoose.
What goes great with luxe bridalwear? Handsome and classic groom attire from ASOS!
Let’s talk accessories! A must for any bride! This wedding day look featured a Eden B Studio hairpiece and Emmy London shoes.
Breakfast Wedding Reception Setup
If a breakfast wedding is on your radar, be sure to read our feature: Why a Brunch Wedding Might Be Perfect For You! One of those reasons? Intimate dining! These tables were adorned with tabletop rentals from Luxe My Wedding, furniture pieces from Virginia’s Vintage Hire and linens from Decovita Events.
The tablescape magic continues with glassware from Keeping It Vintage Devon, candles from Ester and Derik, and rad ceramics from Every Story Studio.
A perfectly styled wedding requires amazing papergoods! The Finger and Thumb menus and invitations paired with Millie Stone calligraphy are moody perfection.
For the dried floral fans- how much are you LOVING these unique and minimalist centerpieces by Twisted Sisters??
Bridal Look #2
Different but still as dramatic as that first Berta gown, this dress features an amazing tulle train!
Did we mention the lush silks on the bouquets? Lancaster and Cornish provided all!
When the cakes match the setting, you know every detail was considered thoughtfully! These Cake Day Dreams cakes and their rough stone-like icing treatments are definitely giving us the moody monastery vibes!
So… after all that magic, who’s ready to start planning a breakfast wedding?! Thank you so much to this amazing team of vendors for sharing this beautiful and modern wedding inspiration with us! We’re in love!!
