This autumn-inspired wedding is like walking through an enchanted forest from our favorite fairytale. From the moody, rich colors, abundance of pumpkins and seasonal greenery, this wedding had us ready for our fairy godmother to appear!
It’s truly a fall fairytale. The design + floral team at Dogwood & Fir share their spicy, fall wedding vision: This wedding was inspired by a variety of the fall season’s elements. Pumpkins, of all shapes, colors, and sizes took center stage. We also pulled inspo from the signature fall drink: PSL. Considering these two savory items, our inspiration struck!

Butterfly Bride
Color palette goals here with the dark ambience distinguished by autumn, all set at the Julep Venue in San Diego. All different fun + unexpected hues of purple, ranging from lilac to burgundy; yellows, oranges, greens + beige. The floral, also done by Dogwood & Fir, is full-bodied and oh-so fall inspired. The butterfly preservation is also so bewitchingly beautiful.
Fall Fairytale Wedding Ceremony
To create this fairytale fall scene, the design team used a rich floral color palette in purples, browns, oranges, yellows + greens. We love the pops of lavender! It gives depth and ‘pop’ to the installation.
This first bridal look is an alluring, fit-for-a-princess, white gown. She’s the Cinderella of this fall fairytale in Beloved Couture Bridal. The second, lovely lavender look is a Gossamer dress, making a bold statement against the fall decor!
and color palette of this wedding. We used our favorite fashion icon, Naomi Cambpell, as inspiration for the bride’s style and overall look. We styled her sleek, long hair with a middle part and applied a soft, nude, natural look for her makeup. For our groom, we wanted him to match the sleek-chic look we gave our bride. So, we gave him that polished and dramatic comb-over hairstyle. His look was inspired by James Bond, channeling that gentlemanly, gleaming look that turns every head in the room. The groom’s attire consisted of a fashionable, plum purple Ted Baker jacket with a black turtleneck, which was paired with blue plaid Michael Kors trousers and a Gucci belt. Both our bride and groom were perfectly matched in elegance and grace.
