Your path to the altar has likely taken some quite unexpected turns this year, and with the launch of her 2021 bridal accessory collection, “Nightbird,” designer Emma Katzka gets it:
Our newest collection was inspired by our brides, many of whom have spent the last year adjusting, readjusting, and going with the flow. We’ve always been into making pieces that transition easily from big weddings to small elopements and intimate after-parties. But given this year’s challenges, I wanted to make sure all of our pieces had versatility and flexibility. We chose to shoot at Tu, an Asian-inspired restaurant in Charleston, to give the collection a laid-back, late-night vibe. I love the pops of color, 70s-inspired sparkle, and the pearly glamour we including in these pieces.
Isn’t it beautiful to know designers are taking into account your own challenges and allowing them to influence their work? Just another reminder that we’re all in this together! And as a gift to the bride planning a wedding in a time where everything is uprooted, we’re partnering with Emma to host a giveaway on Instagram: one $200 e-credit to a US reader to shop the collection!
Let’s have a look at the new fierce + feminine pieces in photos by Rachel Red Photography below!
