Located on the northern side of the Cyclades but in the heart of the Aegean Sea, Tinos is one of the most picturesque Greek islands. If anything, today’s editorial further proves Greece is one of the most diverse wanderlust wedding + elopement destinations for adventurous couples!
Photographer Anna Roussos shares a bit about this beautiful vision: The dove theme is what everyone needs in these uncertain times: a bit of fairytale, a whimsical splash of inspiration and a magical getaway to an island off the beaten path.
With event design by Lily of the Valley, this wanderlust elopement is packed boho-luxe style + romance that’s palpable. Let’s take a look:
Sage Stationery
We are just loving this sage stationery suite by Atelier Invitations! The rich invitations had sage and unique dovecote patterns and gold foiled (white dove, of course) wax seals.

Have you ever seen anything so magical? This bird’s wing-inspired ceremony backdrop is true magic.
These doves, you guys.
The wanderlust ceremony was held against a historical dovecote, with arrangements of pampas, garden roses + dried flowers designed by Jim Labraco. These boho-luxe florals are in the shape of wings, and sparkle with fairy lights. Is there a dreamer setting?!
The Dovecote Lovers
Like a Greecian fairytale with these two. And that bridal braid by Ioanna Karkantelou is seriously next level gorgeousness! Makeup by Katerina Theocharis.
Luxe Micro Wedding Reception
Wanderlust is an understatement for this setting. The minimalist but luxe reception is set in the famous village of Volax known for its enormous granite rock formations. Legend says that these round stones are what’s left from the battle of giants + titans.
Whimsical marble doves at each setting are hand carved by The Handmade Marble.
The long alfresco table is covered with a sparkly blush runner + dolloped with boho airy arrangements of bleached, dried + fresh flowers. Blending harmoniously with the long taper candles, the sage, cream and gold tableware provided the luxe edge to the overall contemporary look.
Luxurious, but light + breezy. Tabletop rentals from White Lilac.
