If it’s good enough for the royal family, it’s good enough for us! This moody winter wedding inspiration is filled with luxe floral details and modern-fairy tale bridal fashion on castle-like grounds. Wyresdale Park is a dreamy estate and working farm nestled in the Forest of Bowland, a favorite retreat for the royals. And it’s no wonder—expansive moorlands sit under sweeps of sky and the area was officially named an “Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.”
Not a traditional winter theme, Carrie-Ann Tilley at Bespoke Event Styling drew inspiration from dark colors to capture the winter atmosphere. There’s a bespoke bridal look with a skirt styled two ways, a decadent tablescape, and a trio of cakes all settled within the hidden beauties and corners of the grounds.
Let’s take a look at the dreamy day, shall we! Sam Sparks Photo captured every lovely detail:
Look at that rose gold ring…such a classic beauty!
Stunner in a Suit Jacket
We told you winter bridal looks would turn to skirt combinations, and now, here we are! The bride’s Wtoo Watters Kiki skirt from Foxglove Brides was paired with two tops for two striking looks. First up, a bridal blazer!
And here’s a closer look at the (first!) bouquet by Wildfire Floral Co.. The floral decor incorporated the lush greenery of the surrounding area and mixed in modern winter flowers. SO LUXE.
We had to take a peek at those CUTE shoes by Charlotte Mills! Because you can never have too much tulle.
A Modern Fairy Tale Transformation
You don’t always need a second dress to pull off a second look! Enter, this handmade bodice top and a little hair + makeup magic!
How GORGEOUS is this look?! Nala and Knot transformed the bridal look from a sweepy updo to tousled curls under a pearl headband. Royal fam, who?
Inspiration for a Moody Winter Wedding Reception
That single white anemone. It’s perfect.
The reception set the moody atmosphere with layered linens, taper candles, wild greenery, and frosted figs.
Delicate glass champagne saucers and glassware completed the textured, luxury dining experience!
Like a fairy tale…
A Regal Cake Trio
The trio of cakes by Where the Ribbon Ends made for a showstopping display! Take a closer look at the details—and the decadent desserts to match.
Oh, how we love a romantic boat moment. The dreamiest ending to a perfect moody winter wedding day!
