Kirsty and Adam tired the knot on 29th August this year, at The Old Marylebone Town Hall in London.
The couple wanted a low key, but chic and intimate city wedding and chose and went to have the date of their wedding tattooed onto their wrists after there ceremony. The bride wore statement bow shoes and a short dress by London luxury womenswear brand, The Odd Muse.
Photographs were captured by Joan Jellett, and despite them only covering a small portion of the day, they capture the incredible vibe that was present. Enjoy!
The Dress
I knew I wanted a short dress for the day that was classic, chic and timeless. The Odd Muse dress couldn’t have been more perfect for what I was looking for.
Beauty & Accessories
I decided to do my own hair and make up to one, save on the expense, and two, I felt like I could achieve my desired look myself! This meant I got to go on a shopping spree and Sephora for all of my new make up bits!
I borrowed my sister’s veil. It was a pearl finger tip length veil from Lace and Favour. My bow satin shoes were from Quiz Clothing.

We chose Joan Jellett as she is the full package! Not only is she out of this world talented, but she is also so fun, personable, hilarious and down right crazy. I instantly fell in love with her.
Joan was the photographer for one of our close friend’s wedding, and through this connection, Joan saw our proposal video on Instagram and claimed us as hers. We got chatting in the DMs and then when we met her at the wedding, I knew she was the woman who had to capture our day. She understood my vision and took it to the next level. She made us feel so at ease and it was a genuine joy to spend the day with her.

How They Met
We are an online dating success story and met on Tinder over 6 years ago! Adam proposed to me whilst we were in the Maldives celebrating his 30th birthday in 2022. It was the most perfect moment as we were watching the sunset on a private beach. We got married just over a year later.
Adam wore a Moss Bros Tux (and he looked incredibly handsome, if I do say so myself!)
Flowers
My flowers are a funny story! I ordered a small bouquet of white roses online for my bouquet as I didn’t want anything extravagant, but these roses ended up being tiny and yellow rather than white.
he day before our wedding, I made a mad dash to a local small local florist, Moorgate Flowers, who happened to have 12 perfect white roses. I wrapped these in white ribbon and secured the ribbon with one of my pearl hair pins. I didn’t have scissors in the hotel room so I had to use the wine opener to cut the ribbon! Very crafty if you ask me!
Wedding Tattoos
Having the day about love and just us two, not having to worry about anyone else.We also got matching tattoos of the wedding date which was such a vibe and super cool!
Words of Wedded Wisdom
Do whatever makes you and your future husband/wife happy. It is YOUR day and no ones else so plan a day that is for the two of you only.
We didn’t have a set budget as it wasn’t a normal wedding! Our only main expenses were the venue (which included a registrar), photographer and hotel costs. All in all, including the bigger expenses and then the dress, suit, shoes, rings, hotel, transport and dinner etc. we spent around £3,500.
