Robyn and Edward tied the knot on 27th May 2023 at Hampshire country house wedding venue, Pylewell Park.
The bride, a Production Manager in Television and the groom, who works in Corporate Finance, were inspired by a vision of blousy and romantic, pastel blooms, which their floral designer, Nudo, delivered in droves. Robyn’s choice of gown, the graceful ‘Molly’, by Suzanne Neville, echoed this aesthetic effortlessly. This gorgeous, couture, silk off the shoulder bridal gown features a sexy thigh high skirt split.
The couple chose the immensely talented documentary wedding photographer, Richard Skins, to capture their day and I adore the outcome. These images full of warm tones and joy are a beautiful testimony to the couples love and all the incredible hard work and talent that their choice of wedding suppliers poured in to creating this beautiful day. Enjoy!

Venue & Location
Our venue was Pylewell Park in Lymington, Hampshire. We fell in love from the moment we stepped out of our car, everything about the venue is utterly stunning.
We also really loved that the pavilion was a blank canvas and meant we could really add our own touch to the day and that you can hire the entire venue exclusively for the weekend, which meant we got to really enjoy the house and grounds with our families and there was no rushing around the day before or morning of the wedding.

Bridal Beauty & Accessories
I wore a set of five hairpins in my hair by Ophelia Ren – my hair stylist was Katya Valentina, and Jenny Ojo did my makeup. My bridal jewellery was all borrowed from family.
I wore a Suzanne Neville veil simple, single tier, long veil. My shoes were Juniper Pearl with the almond toe by designer Charlotte Mills.
When it came to scent, we made a day of it and went to Selfridges and helped choose a new scent for each other to make the day extra special. I went for Le Labo – Rose 31 and Edward wore Loewe Esencia.
My bridesmaids wore off-the-shoulder basque neck maxi dress with flounce sleeves in toasted sugar (Lux Chiffon) by Dessy, which complemented my wedding dress perfectly. My nephew, also our page boy, wore Roco Clothing.

The Ceremony
CK Gospel Choir sang to our wedding guests at the church before I arrived.
Our reading was ‘I Will Love You Forever’, from the ‘The Amber Spyglass’, by Phillip Pullman.
How They Met
We were set up by our mums! During a round of golf they decided to orchestrate a family Sunday lunch at the golf club, and they didn’t tell us what they were up!
Our parents had known each other for five years, and our brothers and sisters all went to the same school so knew each other well – we were the only ones who hadn’t met before.
After the lunch, at which we didn’t speech a huge amount I went travelling for eight weeks and on my return decided to message Edward because why not! The rest is history as they say.
We got engaged the day before my birthday whilst on a weekend break at Soho Farmhouse, it was perfect! That was December 2022, so eighteen months before the wedding.
Edward’s wore tails from Favourbrook.
Evening & Dancing
Our first dance was to Al Green’s ‘Let’s Stay Together’ – a classic with the perfect tempo!
We also hired the Ambassador Band.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
It’s a process to be enjoyed, you are planning your wedding – try and not sweat the small stuff.
If you are planning the wedding yourselves I’d say its never too early to secure the suppliers you want.
And if budget allows we’d highly recommend an event the next day so you can see all your guests again and speak to anyone you didn’t get to. We had a celebration BBQ and it meant we went to sleep on our wedding day knowing we had a whole extra day of fun!
