This Tuscan Vineyard Wedding Was a Magical Celebration of Love

Planning

Victoria + Ricardo—who live in Zurich, Switzerland—adore Italy for all of its history and wine and art. When they began wedding planning they were dreaming of a weekend-long gathering where all of their dearest friends + fam could come together for a monumental, magical hang. Doing it Italia just made sense.

They teamed up with event designer + planner Barbara of Sinfonia Wedding and drove south across the Swiss border for an epic venue-visiting road trip all over Italy. That’s how they found Villa Curina, the breathtaking Tuscan vineyard venue where they hosted all of their guests for four days and said their “I do’s.”

The romantic celebration full of pinks + purples + pearls was an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.

“The event was more than just a wedding,” remembers planner Barbara. “It was a testament to love, art, and the beauty of bringing people together to celebrate in an environment that was as vibrant and dynamic as the couple themselves. It stood as a beautiful synthesis of culture, passion, and the joy of life’s most cherished moments, set against the breathtaking backdrop of Tuscany’s vineyards.”

LM Wedding’s beautiful photographs showcased the wedding’s dreamy + sincere spirit and the magic that Victoria + Ricardo create as a couple.

So glad to get to give you a peek at their idyllic Italian celebration. Andiamo!

We cannot get enough of the delicate pearl details on Victoria’s bridal cape! It adds so much romance to her already stunning strapless plunge neck illusion bodice gown.

The Ceremony

Preludio Noleggio created a whimsical, fairytale feel with this mismatched ceremony seating setup.

And these pink + purple florals! Silvia Merli made magic with the way they appear to be blooming right out of the ground!

Barbara described Ricardo’s unique toile groom’s look perfectly: “The groom’s attire was a masterpiece in itself, meticulously handcrafted with fabric inspired by an ancient fresco in Florence, symbolizing a beautiful blend of tradition and personal expression. This choice not only highlighted their appreciation for art but also their desire to infuse their wedding with elements that are deeply personal and meaningful.”

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding

From the bride: "There are too many to pick just one. The first day, when we were sitting by the pool, enjoying a glass of wine and all our favourite people started to arrive, the moment I walked down the aisle with my dad and saw Ricardo standing there, waiting for me in this beautiful scenery, surrounded by our loved ones. The overwhelming emotions during the ceremony when we looked at each other, said our vows and kissed. The spontaneous dance I had with my dad during the aperitivo. The speeches of our closest friends and family, we laughed, we cried. The crazy party where we danced for hours into the night. The next day, where we all met at the pool (some more lively than others), drank wine, ate pizza and reminisced over the previous day."

Salute!

We adore a champagne tower! Such a classic, festive way to get the bubbly flowing at the reception. Try a champagne wall if you’re feeling adventurous!

Fragola Lilla created the day’s paper goods, including these romantic rough-edged menus. Love the wax seal detail!
