Love, Asha Photography was the genius behind the camera who—along with an unstoppable team of talented vendors including event designer AMV Weddings —created a gorgeous editorial shoot at Agafay Desert Luxury Camp, just 45 minutes into the desert hills outside of Marrakech, Morocco.
The wedding experience that this crew assembled was earthy, airy, elegant boho magic. And we want to help you recreate it!

Our Favorite Memory From The Wedding One of our favorite memories of the day was interacting with and riding the camels in the desert. It was truly the thrill of a lifetime.
Going for lighter neutral tones and avoiding dark or vibrant colors means no distractions from the beauty of the natural landscape!

“The Bloom Room combined color and texture to craft an alluring desert oasis sprung up from nowhere as if in a dream,” remembers photographer Asha. “Shades of peach, cream, and coral accentuated the vast rolling dunes and recall the colors of the desert sunset.”

Patterns definitely aren’t off the table for a desert wedding! We love the way the floral off-white + ivory motifs of Abi’s wedding gown were echoed in these delicate yet ornate table linens from Nüage Designs.
Even though light + neutral tones are the overall way to go, color isn’t off limits! Textured dinnerware from Maison Klarabelle provided a gentle pop of peach.
6. Connect With Culture
Destination weddings call for curiosity, respect, and enthusiasm for your location’s local culture. We love the way this shoot incorporated local traditional musicians to give guests a cultural context for the celebration and support the community’s artists.
