Color, Color, Color!! A pastel embroidered wedding dress, rainbow floral installations and the iconic bright blue doors of Greece. These are the stunning details from Elli + Dimitris’ destination wedding at Nissi Beach Bar. With the help of event planners, Tie the Knot Santorini, they pulled off a stunning event full of unique Mediterranean vibes. E + D shared this about what drew them to the location:
First of all the destination chosen was one of our favorite places in Greece , when we visited Amorgos for the first time and we saw the chapel of Santa Anna and the greatness of big blue ( this exact location is actually where a beautiful part of the movie Big Blue was filmed) instantly we imagined our wedding there. We did it followed by our families and close friends.

Custom Bridal Gown
If this isn’t Grecian goddess material, we don’t know what is!! We’re absolutely in awe over E’s romantic embroidered wedding dress in shades of purple, blue, and blush. We’ve been loving this gown trend and even did a feature on embroidered wedding dresses here!
The gown comes from the genius design brain of Made Bride – by Antonea. E shared more with us about how this dream dress came about:
It started with an idea and was so lucky and grateful that Maria from Tie the Knot suggested me talented Dimitra Andonea, this great lady made my dream wedding dress come true. With the help of Maria and Dimitra we chose those colourful materials and finally this custom made dress was the beginning of the wedding palette. I wanted a different dress, for sure not white. We brainstormed and finally had this beautiful creation!! A blush tulle dress with sequin flowers sewed one by one on the delicate tulle.
E’s bejeweled hairpiece and shoes come from Savrani Creations. We love how perfectly her romantic curls and ethereal makeup Christine Panagopoulou play up this bridal look!
Rainbow Florals
When you plan a destination wedding, it really gives you the opportunity to go bold with your decor and play up the setting around you. Red Box Days designed this rainbow floral installation and it’s a perfect example. Don’t you love how the vibrant colors pop against the classic white architecture of the homes in Greece?
We spy some green wedding shoes there, E! The perfect bridal accessory if you ask us!
Intimate Ceremony
The first moment i saw my beautiful bride walking down the stairs of the traditional pathway to santa Anna chapel and she saw all of us gathered waiting for her was one of the most emotional moment of our life .
We love seeing culture and tradition added into E + D’s destination wedding ceremony!
Processional: Marry You- Bruno Mars
Recessional:
First Dance: Thinking out loud- Ed Sheeran
E carried a few different bouquet styles on the day. This one is smaller and has a mix of both fresh and dried florals. You know what they say- why settle for just one bridal bouquet when you can have two and switch up your looks?!
Newlywed Portraits
These two are the CUTEST!!

Destination Wedding Reception
Rainbow Ombre?? Yes please! E + D styled their reception so that these dramatic chair drapes and the centerpiece florals created this rad ombre effect across the reception space. Multimedia Events set it all off with the perfect pendant lights!
Even the glassware was rainbow-inspired!
White Lilac provided all of the tabletop rentals for the day. So many fun details from the gold geometric terrariums, to the beachy rattan chargers.
We’re always here for a dramatic hanging installation!
Light Up the Night
A destination wedding wouldn’t be complete without a photoshoot on the beach! This rad set up is everything! Illuminography provided the neon sign, while Weddings & Whimsy provided the copper arch.
Swoon! This love story puts those of the Greek gods to shame! Elli + Dimitris- We are reeling over your destination wedding perfection! Congratulations from the GWS Team!
