Buckle up, love. We’re hitting the road with nothing but a vintage car, a rad couple, and a few hundred roses in tow! You know, just in case. This road trip elopement inspiration is the brainchild of photographer, Heather K. Purdy, and here’s a little BTS from the lady herself:
There are three things I love photographing more than anything in the world: couples in love, vintage cars, and gorgeous florals. So, I had this dream to combine them all in a styled shoot that married those elements, as well as gives voice to this desire to take a road trip and be free from all this COVID madness. Hit the road, escape from reality, and go a little bit rock and roll in the dreamiest way possible…
Despite the super-cool reckless vibe of its whole day, Heather met the couple before lockdown + they waited until things were a little less reckless to shoot. But with a little patience and the perfect small team of creatives, magic happens — let’s have a look!
We’re of the idea that there can never be enough roses and it appears that Cassia Foret agrees. She designed those da-reeeamy cascading blooms which followed these two at every stop!
Just about any place can be transformed with a rug and some roses!
THE CUTEST.
Road Trip Elopement Bridal Style
She is WEARING that Enzo Ani dress. Hera Bridal provided the sweetheart-neck gown for a spin around the block.
The bride rocked a fierce + neutral look by makeup artist, Andrea Rodriguez.
Just a few pieces to throw in the trunk from Forage Vintage Rental for an impromptu roadside lounge!
Lovers in the Headlights
We’re totally getting road trip elopement with some Bonnie + Clyde vibes — do you feel it?
If the journey is in the getting there, we’re definitely game to hop in that car. LOVE this rad inspo — thanks so much to the team for sharing!
