One of the reasons they say the wedding day flies by? It’s just so busy. When every moment of the day is planned, it’s hard to take time for reflection because it’s ALL happening. One of the benefits if you’re planning a small wedding (or an elopement) is the opportunity to just let the day breathe. To enjoy the process and mark the moments. And a tiny cabin wedding? Seems like the perfect opportunity to do just that. Here’s the beautiful inspiration behind this bridal editorial from photographer, Kaley from Kansas:
This bridal editorial is set in a modern cabin in the woods of Upstate New York at a venue called Gather Greene. I wanted it to be fresh, intimate, and ethereal. A take on a bride getting ready in vintage lingerie then heading outside to gather her thoughts before getting into her beautiful two-piece gown and finally ending in a field of golden grass at sunset. I feel like this is a new take: telling a story from the bride’s perspective in a peaceful environment with styling that makes her feel beautiful and seen.
Let’s have a look at the photos by Kaley from Kansas!
Tiny Cabin Wedding Day Styling
The modern upstate cabin was dressed in gorgeous flowers and plumes of pampas grass by Hudson Botanica.
Isn’t everything just that much better with flowers?
PS: We think a glamping honeymoon is a rad way to go. Here’s a roundup of our favorite glamping spots — including this cabin!
The bride slipped into a lovely vintage Diane Von Furstenberg robe as the day unfolded.
Ethereal Bride in Golden Fields
The Alexandra Grecco two-piece dress from Everthine Bridal was the perfect whimsical look!
Pure magic! Jhori Jurgenson brought the look to life with that stunning gilded eye.
Taking it all in…
Wow. Such a beautiful + inspiring look at the day from the bride’s point of view. A tiny cabin wedding day with a margin for the special moments — that is something to say yes to.
