IT’S FALL Y’ALL! Sorry to shout, but fall is just the best — even 2020 cannot take away Octobers. The turn of the season seems as good a reason as any to celebrate, and the team at Beijos Events is all over it. Hosting a chic fall party at home is just a few tips away, thanks to those party-planning aficionados!
One thing to know? It’s easy to scale a gathering for a smaller group and still have details that pack a punch. (Catch us calling in balloon installations all season long!) If there’s anything 2020 has taught us, it’s not to waste any time making the celebrations really count.
Jessica Lynn Photography grabbed some photos of the chic fall setup, from invitations to yummy bites! Have a look and catch our home party tips along the way:
The party always begins with the invitation and this is a sweet one by Proper Letter!
Tip: A chic fall party needs statement pieces!
If you’re hosting at your home, you most likely have the furniture to fill the space. But occasionally, there’s room for more seating or a vignette in another area. Rather than pull out the folding chairs, consider renting a few statement pieces. Another way to bring the fall vibes is to switch out throw pillows and opt for cozy textures and an autumn color palette.
Nothing quite makes a statement like balloons! The Pop Shop put together this fall-esque matte arch for the lounge.
Tip: Bring the outside in with florals — and gourds!
When it comes to florals, work with your season. For example, Third & Park combined dried branches + leaves with live mums for an autumnal tone. You can even pull those from your yard to mix in with the floral displays! And the pumpkins + gourds are a no-brainer, but we do love the fairy tale pumpkins for something a little more tonal and unique.
Tip: Make the drinks something special.
Falls is SUCH a fun time to explore seasonal drink flavors! Bottles & Blooms handled the cocktail menu for this little gathering and hiring a professional certainly adds to the fun. You could also research cocktail recipes to create your own menu, or sub out fall flavors for your tried + trues! (For example, Jen subs Trader Joe’s’ pumpkin ginger brew in her Moscow Mules — brilliant!)
Aren’t these personal Himalayan salt shot glasses by Proper Letter so fun?
Tip: Make an event out of the food!
You ever notice how a good cocktail makes the food that much better? Fall flavors are warm and cozy, but 2020 hasn’t exactly been…cozy…has it? Consider serving fall bites in personal bowls + plates to help guests feel more comfortable.
This fall spread by Colette’s Catering was displayed in darling dishes from Cherished Rentals!
Tip: End on a sweet note.
It’s not a party without a little treat and these darling delights by Sugar Crush Sweets seal the deal!
We hope your fall gatherings are more special than ever this year. Hearts to Beijos Events for always inspiring us!
