In a time where full fledged travel isn’t an option, we really do have to rely on our own imaginations + creativity to be ‘transported.’ And the creators behind today’s inspiration did just that! Although set in Bologna, Italy, this lavender field wedding embodies the dreamy romance of Provence.
With event design from Officina dei Matrimoni and the planning of Marilena Zambelli, we have a peek into the vision: Before the lockdown, I planned a trip to Provence to see the blooming lavender fields, but we couldn’t due to the travel ban. Instead, we decided to find a piece of Provence in Italy, which helped us to dream again and be outdoors surrounded by beauty.
This sweet couple should have tied the knot in 2020, but plans changed (as they do). Luckily, in an Italian lavender field, they still had a pretty magical day. Giulia Pini captures the inspiration:
Calling All Free-Spirits
Whimsical watercolor and hand-lettering to kick off this lavender field wedding inspiration with artistry from Sono Solo Scarabocchi.
Romantic Lace Wedding Dress
This flowy and romantic lace wedding dress from Boutique Alba belongs out in nature. The delicate embroidery and boho sleeves creates magic against the lavender fields!
In addition to the stunning rows of lavender fields, Roberto Fiori incorporated some rad boho floral in shades of rust + burgundy.
A ‘lil rose gold flatware to compliment this purple palette. Lovely tabletop rentals from Borgo delle Tovaglie.
Lavender Field Wedding (Forever)
Always here for a smoke bomb show!
A thousand times yes to all this texture!
Lavender Wedding Treats
Sweetly Lab clearly got the lavender memo for this elopement! We love the large blossoms and gold flecks.
Yes! You can be transported, too, thanks to the videography of Michael Cosenza. Stroll the fields and feel the love!
