Events gave some rad insight into the vision + goals behind this editorial: We’ve noticed a huge gap in photos that feature gorgeous women with non-traditional hair. We wanted to do something a little different and have the bride with the wild yet sophisticated curly hair, the bride with the dreadlocks and the bride with the long, luscious mane. Our goal was to create a modern and contemporary design, while highlighting diversity in Black women’s hair textures that are often under-represented in the bridal industry.
