A blank canvas-type wedding venue is wonderful for a couple with one stunning vision! Something like today’s velvety fall wedding inspiration demonstrates the huge impact that a seemingly soft, neutral color palette can have. With white walls and tall ceilings, the sky’s the limit. And today’s editorial team wanted that sky draped in velvet!
The designers at 36th Street Events share their vision: We were inspired by the glowing, warm, golden tones of autumn for this incredible editorial. We want to showcase a luxurious wedding at a venue that is the perfect, beautiful, blank canvas – Prospect House. This modern venue overlooks views of the hill country, and we want to complement its modern white walls with romantic, overflowing florals. For the ceremony space, we have a long velvet draping paired with a gorgeous white floral installation. It’s the perfect ceremony setting.
You really won’t believe what a statement these flowers can make even in such a neutral color palette. From smooth, buttery yellow blooms to bleached white-out flowers…it all works just right! Photos from Aurelia Baca to prove it:
