This Texas Hill Country Wedding couple is showing us how to completely customize your wedding style with finesse! Katie + Phillip planned a bohemian dream of a wedding day at Maes Ridge in Dripping Springs, TX. K, who was in the process of opening up her own wedding rental company, decided to use her day as a way to create bold, custom decor pieces she could use for her business. With the help of Heather Lane Events, she planned the perfect mix of pampas grass, natural woven details, and some pretty rad terracotta arches. We’ll let K tell you more:
When I was planning, I started really gravitating towards the terracotta colors and arched details. This ultimately became the “theme” of our wedding. I wanted everything to feel very cohesive and thought out, so I sprinkled in arched details and pops of terracotta everywhere I could. I had our arched ceremony backdrop, our arched champagne wall and the arch that went behind us at the head table custom made for our wedding so we could use it and then rent it out later. These elements were my absolute favorite details of our wedding.
Peyton Rainey Photography captured every gorgeous detail. Let’s scroll on and take a look!
Terracotta + Arches Throughout

Bridesmaid Beauties
We could honestly stare at this gorgeous lineup of mix and match champagne bridesmaids dresses all day! Plus, loving that some girls carried bouquets and some carried woven fans. K and her girls were looking wedding day ready thanks to the hair and makeup talents of LUX beauty and bridal + Lola Beauty.

What’s a chic wedding without a fun getaway care like this convertible from Transportation Consultants?
Loving this close up of K’s Lovers Society ‘Tate’ gown that she found at Lovely Bride Dallas. The sleeves and the detailing are a boho bride’s dream. She paired the gown with a Carol Hannah hairpiece while P looked like the perfect gentleman in Indochino attire.
Texas Hill Country Wedding Reception
This champagne wall will forever be living inside our minds after this!! If you’re loving this, check out some of our other favorite escort card and welcome displays!
K + P made sure the arch theme continued throughout the reception!
It is too hard to pick one moment from the entire day because every moment was my absolute favorite but one moment that felt really special was when I just took a moment by myself and looked around at the reception space that was completely decorated and I thought two things: 1. I can’t believe I did this all myself. Seeing it all come together was so surreal and I was so proud of all the hard work I put into planning every detail. Then I thought, we did it! We made it. All the stress of planning a wedding during a pandemic is over and now it is time to just CELEBRATE.

Late Night Party
I am SO thankful that we went ahead with our wedding on August 1st. I can’t even describe the feeling from that day. Postponing our wedding made the actual day even more special and you could really just feel the love in the room that day. It took blood sweat and tears to make it happen and it was even better than I even imagined.
Congratulations Katie + Phillip! Your boho Texas Hill Country Wedding day is sure to inspire the color lovers and creatives out there! All the best and all the love from the GWS Team!
