Looking to elope in a national park? For Roselle + Malik, heading deep into carved-out crevices to declare their love made total sense. Roselle donned a starry wedding dress with a crown to match and called on The Greatest Adventure Wed to help plan their Death Valley elopement. Here’s Roselle with a little BTS:
Our love for adventure, community, and nature has taken us on countless escapades. Malik proposed to me at my favorite slot canyon on a waterfall hike in Utah and it was no brainer for us to elope in Mother Nature. Because of Covid, we officially wed at the courthouse in Las Vegas then got dressed up to exchange personal vows for our Death Valley elopement. Our photographer, Kim Butler, absolutely excelled in bringing the vision to life. She made our day even more spectacular than we could’ve ever imagined.
Off we go into the Mojave Desert!
Roselle’s Starry Wedding Dress
What a gown, right?! Roselle’s starry wedding dress by Reclamation Design Company (and rented from The Kindred Soul!) made for a significant statement piece. Death Valley is one of the last places in the lower 48 states where the night sky can be photographed without light pollution—consider that an Easter egg for photos to come!
Kim and the couple spent two days hiking, exploring, and scouting the best locations for photos. The abandoned buildings and ghost towns were first on the list!
Happy in the Desert
What a spot for a twirl!
If you’re a lover of all things celestial, we’ve got plenty of starry wedding dresses right this way.
Such a sweet bouquet by Fragile Boxer!
Dreamiest Death Valley Elopement Photos

Isn’t she a vision?! Loving that halo and her makeup by Kim Matthias!
For a look at the whole dreamy day in Death Valley, here’s a video from Jesse Butler!
