Making a DIY wedding centerpiece can be a fun way to save for your wedding day. A few tips we cover in the video:
1. Keep it asymmetrical. It hides the flaws better when there’s no real form!
2. Get your flowers early. It gives you time to trim the stems, remove leaves, and for the blooms to open up.
3. Don’t be afraid to use a funky and fun vessel, like the candy dish I found at a local antique shop.
4. Have a method to your madness by following a loose pattern. What you do on one side, repeat on the other. It provides visual balance.
5. Always be turning your display, and make sure you’re covering any visible foam.
6. And lastly, don’t be afraid to edit and redo parts!
