Naomi and Jack’s classy country wedding took place on 14th October 2022 at Healey Barn, part of the Cripps & Co group, a gem of a venue located in the breathtakingly beautiful Northumberland.
Being Jewish, Naomi was keen for a timeless black tie affair with neutral colours. Her gently puff sleeved Pronovias gown perfectly complemented the effortlessly sophisticated vibes of the day.
Love My Dress highly recommended wedding photographer, Helen Russell, captured these images. You can enjoy more of Helen’s work here. She has a beautiful, relaxed, contemporary style. Let’s start though with this beautiful film by Bennett Media.
Healey Barn
We loved the idea of the whole wedding being in one place so people couldn’t ‘get lost’ and Healey Barn kept everyone together. It also has a beautiful outdoor area, as well as being striking indoors too.

The Dress
I wore a Pronovias gown, from Bridal Wish in Blagdon. Wendy at Bridal Wish was incredible – rather than clip you into your dresses when you’re trying them on, she actually pins you in so you have a better idea of how it works.
We never felt rushed at the shop and she made me feel very special. They came recommended by all my friends and when I mentioned them Wendy could recall their full name and what dress they’d worn!
I had no pre-conceived idea of what sort of dress I wanted; I had purposefully not done much research.
The one I chose was the first dress I tried on! It was very different from any other dress I’d seen before and it was as though it was made for me.
Shoes, Veil & Accessories
I wore a waist length, double tier veil. My shoes were from Phase Eight, they were a pale lilac/beige colour.
I wore my usual perfume – Jo Malone’s Myrrh and Tonka. It’s all I wear!
My mum had the first engagement ring that my dad gave her turned into a necklace that I wore on the day. My ‘something borrowed’ was a wedding ring that belonged to my friend Ruths grandma. Ruth actually performed our ceremony for us.
Bridesmaids
I gave the bridesmaids a colour scheme (olive green) and a budget and asked them to choose dresses that they felt amazing in. They were a mix of Coast, Pretty Lavish, ASOS and Oasis etc.
Helen Russell Photography
I found Helen Russell’s work on Instagram and knew she would create the sort of photos we were after. We love the colour of the photos and the way she worked with light.
We also didn’t want very many staged photos and she captured off the cuff moments perfectly.
Would recommend in a heartbeat.

How they Met
We met at work in London then moved to Manchester (Jacks hometown) and both can’t imagine living anywhere else!
We were together for four years before getting engaged during which we had out little boy, Ari. Jack proposed in August 2020, which was a complete surprise!
Evening & Favourite Moments
In the evening, we hired Juno Band. Our first dance track was to Elvis Presley’s ‘Burning Love’ – the song we would inevitably end up dancing to at the end of a night.
Words of Wedded Wisdom
If you’re questioning whether or not to invite someone, don’t invite them! You want to be on that dance floor and be able to grab anyone and be excited to see them.
We also didn’t have night guests and it was the best decision – only our favourite people all day and no-one was invited for what is essentially a night out.
People will get over it if you don’t invite them.
