Bride Jamie knew she wanted her wedding day to feel “otherworldly.”
When she and now-husband Ben began their wedding planning process, the invite list was set to include around 200 people. After flirting with rustic destination venues in Vermont and Colorado, Jamie + Ben realized something didn’t feel right about their plan.
They settled on a new approach: use the budget they’d allocated for a larger wedding to instead go all in on an immersive, enchanted wonderland of a micro wedding for only 21 of their very nearest and dearest friends and fam.
Their intimate celebration at The Liberty Hotel in Boston was a breathtaking boho floral fantasy. Hummingbird Events & Design brought Jamie’s “otherworldly” vision to life and made sure that the entire venue was dripping in drapey, moody flowers. Candles flickered. There was a floating wedding cake.
Jamie + Ben’s day is a reminder to anyone in the midst of planning their own wedding: It is okay to change your mind along the way, and sometimes when you reevaluate your plan you end up making something unforgettably magical ✨
