Bustling your wedding gown is an important skill to keep your train off the floor and to ensure your gown looks flawless all night long!

How to Bustle:
Find the bustle points! Your gown will have loops or hooks attached to the back of the skirt. These are the bustle points.
Attach the loops to the hooks! Starting from the bottom, attach the loops to the corresponding hooks on the train for the French Bustle, and attach the loops to the waistband of the gown for the American Bustle.
Work your way up! Continue attaching the loops to the hooks until you reach the top of the train.

Remember, it is always best to ask your seamstress for detailed instructions during your last fitting. We highly recommend having a friend or family member film how your seamstress bustles your gown so you have it to reference on the wedding day!

Fixing your train on your wedding day can be a full time job! That job gets exponentially harder without the right technique.

To easily fix or fluff a train, position yourself behind the bride. Find the center seam of the train and grab hold of the fabric on either side of that seam. From there, lift the train to allow the air to help make your job a little easier, and gently drop the fabric to the ground. (Think of the way you would fluff your top sheet while making a bed!) Voila! Now don’t forget to save this and send it to all your bridesmaids to study up before your big day
